A military plane with 25 passengers and 7 crew members crashed in the Igbo-koda area of Ondo State, Nigeria. This incident occurred following an announcement by officials on Monday. Nigeria's Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, stated that the aircraft was on a routine mission to Lagos, Nigeria's economic hub, when it crashed mid-flight.

Keyamo explained that the plane disappeared from radar around 9 AM local time (7 AM GMT) and was later confirmed to have crashed mid-route from Edo State to Lagos. Nigerian officials reported that the wreckage was found near a naval base.
