Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform Party, thanked Andy Burnham, Prime Minister of the UK, for reopening the Brexit discussion in his recent speech at the Doncaster racecourse, calling this action the biggest boost in his career. Farage pointed out the contradictions in Burnham's policies, stating that holding a second referendum could severely divide the country.

Speech in Doncaster

The choice of Doncaster for this speech was not accidental. This city in northern England is one of the areas that voted heavily for leaving the European Union and was previously considered an industrial stronghold of the Labour Party. In this speech, Farage said: "He may have given me the biggest boost in my career. Thank you, Andy." This speech was introduced as the beginning of a long period of election campaigning for the Reform Party.

Election Campaign and Planning

Farage, acknowledging that he had been absent from the political scene last summer, announced that he has now launched a program called "100 Days to Save Britain" and introduced this campaign as the start of the Reform Party's public election efforts. He stated: "I will be on the roads every week until the elections, whether this year, next spring, or even three years from now, actively campaigning and fighting."

A spokesperson for Farage announced that he will stop at least twice a week during this tour to continue campaigning. While Farage still believes that elections may be held soon, Burnham could delay them until August 2029, and the Prime Minister has recently lowered expectations for holding elections.
