Necessity of Adhering to Commitments
The Deputy for Legal and International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that continued participation in discussions indicates political flexibility and Tehran's commitment to the diplomatic process. Gharibabadi also reminded that the U.S. must return to fulfilling its commitments. According to him, Tehran has not violated any of its commitments, while Washington has not adhered to its obligations under the Islamabad agreement and must take compensatory steps in this regard.
Gharibabadi emphasized that as long as the American side has completely disregarded all its commitments, one should not expect Iran to show more flexibility in this regard. These positions of Iran reflect Tehran's firm approach towards negotiations and diplomacy and, in a way, call for genuine attention and action from Washington.
