Ismail Baqai, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated in his weekly press conference that developments in the region, especially in West Asia, are continuing intensely, with the focal point of these developments being occupied Palestine. He identified the Zionist regime as the main cause of these insecurities and added: Today, more than 10 Palestinians have been martyred.

Situation of Palestinian Refugees

Baqai continued that on the eve of winter, the problems of Palestinian refugees are catastrophic, and the lack of facilities does not even allow for the presence of tents. He referred to the danger of normalizing the crimes and killings of Palestinians and stated that the international community must be accountable for these crimes.

Presence of New Iranian Representatives in Various Countries

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also referred to new appointments and said: At the level of representations, five new appointments have been made, including Mr. Shamsizadeh as the new ambassador of Iran to Cyprus, Zahra Saei as the new ambassador of Iran to Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Nazari as the new ambassador in Japan, and Mr. Najrabadi in New Zealand.

He further discussed the mediation of Qatar and the consultations between the two countries, stating: The visit of the Deputy Foreign Minister to Doha was to facilitate interactions between Iran and Qatar, and discussions are ongoing. Baqai emphasized that Iran's demands must be implemented first for security to return to the region and the Strait of Hormuz.

Response to the Letter from the U.S. Vice President

Regarding the letter from J.D. Vance, the U.S. Vice President, to Mohsen Rezaei, Baqai said: For us, the actions of the U.S. in this regard are important, not the style of letter writing. He emphasized that the U.S. has only beaten the drum of war in the past two years and has had no diplomatic initiative.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also responded to accusations of anti-Semitism in Iran, stating that these accusations do not stick to Iran and are essentially a European phenomenon. He emphasized the existence of Jewish churches in Iran and urged European countries to reconsider their behavior.

Iran's Position Against Threats

Baqai, in response to Trump's threats to attack Iran's nuclear facilities, said: We will document instances of gross human rights violations and emphasized that the U.S. is the biggest threat to the non-proliferation regime. He added that such threats strengthen Iran's resolve to defend itself.

He concluded regarding the possibility of uranium leaving the country, stating: This issue has been rejected, and he also dismissed the accusations of the Kuwaiti government against Iranian nationals, urging Kuwait to stop harassing its citizens for their sympathy with Iran.
