A military plane in southern Nigeria with 32 occupants, including 25 passengers and 7 crew members, crashed. Officials announced on Monday that the aircraft encountered an incident while on a routine mission towards Lagos, Nigeria's economic hub.

The plane crashed in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State.
