Rayhan Vadra, the nephew of India's opposition leader, Rahul Gandhi, was requested by the Bikaner House cultural center in New Delhi to remove several photos related to youth protests in Delhi from its exhibition.

Content of the Photos and Reasons for Removal

The Bikaner House center announced this request, stating that some of the photos do not align with the center's policies. Vadra wrote in a social media post: "The content of these photos seems to be provocative." The recent protests in India, led by Rahul Gandhi, have become a significant challenge for Narendra Modi's government.

Political and Social Challenges

The recent protests have particularly focused on the demand for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar, over controversial changes in the electoral lists. India's Home Minister, Amit Shah, criticized the Congress Party and the Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday, stating that protests and demonstrations cannot help them win elections.

Gandhi has also claimed that India's election body has engaged in vote theft in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Meanwhile, several student organizations and the Janata Kachra Party are also supporting Kumar's resignation.

In the meantime, BJP spokesperson, Gaurav Bhatia, accused Gandhi of having connections with foreign organizations and claimed that these organizations are trying to create unrest and undermine legal institutions.

Security Incidents in Saudi Arabia

In separate incidents, an Indian citizen was killed in an attack at the Dammam airport in Saudi Arabia, and two others were injured. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs condemned the attack, which occurred on Wednesday, and called for the safety of Indian citizens abroad.

Attacks on civilian and energy infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, including the attack on the Shubai oil field carried out by Iran-backed Houthis, have also drawn international criticism.

India-Poland Bilateral Talks

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with his Polish counterpart, Donald Tusk, in New Delhi on Thursday. The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and cooperation in trade, defense, and technology. Tusk stated during the meeting that the friendship between New Delhi and Warsaw is not solely based on diplomatic relations but on "shared human heritage and empathy."

During his two-day visit to India, Tusk also met with India's Foreign Minister, S. Jaishankar, to explore ways to deepen bilateral cooperation.
