Analysis of Election Results
DeSantis stated at this conference: "This is close to an extinction event for Republicans in many parts of the country, as we have seen over the past 100 years." From DeSantis's perspective, Republicans must face new challenges and seriously respond to the needs of voters. He believes that this process could help strengthen the party again, but it requires fundamental changes in approaches and policies.
