Friend introductions in the modern world are being proposed as an effective solution for rekindling emotional connections. Last year, I started hosting monthly parties at my home. When I noticed two friends getting along well, I introduced them to each other. I casually said, 'You should go out together sometime.' And this marked the beginning of a new process.

Dating apps can make meeting people feel like a separation from our community and acquaintances. We only get to know strangers through a few photos and limited texts, while friends can provide us with more details about a person's character and behavior. They know what type of people we like and remind us of some of our behavioral patterns that we may not see ourselves.
Many of us have a similar experience; after a breakup, our best friends say, 'I knew this relationship wouldn't work out!' Our friends also tell us honestly and can help us better understand our strengths and weaknesses.
Friend introductions can serve as a remedy for the numbness and emotional distance created by dating apps. I hope that by helping my friends find the right partner, they will also find the right person for me in the future.
