Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, reacted in a recent interview to the reduction of Starlink internet services, which has impacted Ukraine's military capabilities, and expressed doubt about Elon Musk's unilateral action as the CEO of SpaceX.

Zelensky's Doubt About Musk's Independence

Zelensky stated in this interview: "I am not sure that he [Musk] can do this alone with Starshield, as this is a military and government version." This remark comes as the reduction of Starlink services in Ukraine has had serious consequences due to the military needs of the country in its war with Russia.

Consequences of Starlink Service Reduction

The reduction of Starlink services means losing internet access for Ukraine's military forces. These services are essential for establishing strategic communications and coordinating military operations. Zelensky continued that this issue could lead to a decrease in the efficiency of Ukrainian forces and consequently negatively impact the course of the war.

The issue of Starlink and Elon Musk's role in it has become one of the important topics in the Ukraine war. Zelensky noted in his interview that government entities may be involved in this matter and that this action may not be solely Musk's decision.

In this context, Zelensky also pointed to the importance of military and technological support from allied countries and emphasized that such support could significantly improve Ukraine's military situation. He added: "We need this type of support to be able to confront the existing threats."
