Marine Le Pen, the candidate of the National Rally (Rassemblement National), warned during her speech at the Playbook Paris summit about the possibility of a debt crisis in France, stating that "a debt crisis can occur suddenly." She made these remarks as France's public financial situation is assessed as concerning.

Criticism of Emmanuel Macron's Performance

Le Pen emphasized in this session that she does not deny the "risk" of such a crisis and added that this crisis is the result of "ten years of unchecked spending, a significant increase in debt, and growing deficits." She criticized the performance of Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, stating that the emergence of a debt crisis is due to the government's misguided financial policies.

Le Pen continued by saying that as a presidential candidate, she is striving for a budget that will have "minimal flaws." She emphasized that her goal is to implement necessary changes to the budget if elected as President.

Future Financial Plans

Marine Le Pen also announced that she will present her five-year financial plan on October 6, which includes "€125 billion in savings." She stressed that if elected, she will make "significant changes to the most negatively impactful" sections of the financial law, while the current government refrains from passing specific laws.

Regarding the European Union budget, Le Pen criticized the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, accusing her of wanting to ignore "the four elections of the major EU countries" including France, the UK, Italy, and Spain. She called this action "a democratic scandal" and emphasized that it pursues specific political interests.

According to polls, Le Pen is considered one of the main candidates in the French presidential election, and her opinions and plans seem to have a significant impact on the country's political landscape.
