Seyyed Morteza Mobalegh, referring to the President's remarks at the United Nations, stated that the meaning of the phrase "we want power for peace, not war" is that peace without power is fragile, and power without diplomacy is costly. He emphasized that diplomacy lacking the backing of power easily becomes a tool for enemy exploitation.

The Need for Effective Diplomacy

Mobalegh added: "Power has diverse components, with military power and social cohesion and unity between the government and the people forming key parts of it." He believes that diplomacy also has various dimensions, and its simultaneous utilization with the components of power creates a highly effective combination that neutralizes enemy greed.

In response to the question of what the difference is between negotiating from a position of weakness and negotiating from a position of power, Mobalegh clarified that if the Americans and Zionists undermined the negotiation table and invaded the country, it was because they believed they could defeat Iran in various aspects.

Defensive Power and Social Cohesion

Mobalegh noted that the key point is that the enemy must feel that Iran is a powerful and capable country both in terms of social cohesion and defensive capability. He referred to the 40-day war and said that despite extensive preparations, the enemies quickly realized the extraordinary deterrence present in both the military and social solidarity of Iran.

Mobalegh also stated: "We must not allow the enemy to develop this false sense that Iran is facing weakness, a lack of defensive capability, or diplomatic incapacity." He emphasized that if defensive power and diplomatic authority are maintained and enhanced, aggressors will refrain from greed.

He further referred to the multi-layered strategy of the United States and Israel, stating that this strategy includes economic pressures and efforts to create social unrest. According to Mobalegh, they are seeking to create unrest by arming certain proxy groups to disrupt the social cohesion and resilience of the country.

Narrative Building and Diplomacy

Mobalegh, highlighting the importance of diplomacy in the current situation, said: "Iran is in a very sensitive condition" and the Americans and Zionists are designing and applying extensive pressures. He emphasized that diplomacy in such circumstances is not merely about negotiation and that various dimensions of it must be utilized.

He noted: "Iran does not surrender and is capable of achieving its goals through dignified diplomacy." Mobalegh also stressed the necessity of utilizing the country's media and informational capacities, stating that this requires a complex and comprehensive plan.

He concluded by saying that narrative building is of utmost importance, and Iran must make greater efforts in this area. Mobalegh added: "Utilizing the media and cultural capacities of the country is vital for the success of the diplomatic apparatus."
