The "America PAC," established for the 2024 elections, has received over $76 million to assist Republicans in seven key states. This committee is working to increase voter turnout to enhance Republicans' chances in the elections.
Musk's Shift in Political Approach
Musk had previously stated that he would stay away from politics, donating only $10,000 to Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee in 2015. However, since 2017, his approach has shifted towards supporting Republicans, and his expenditures in this regard have significantly increased. He also reactivated Trump's account after purchasing Twitter in 2022 and changed Twitter's name to "X."
During the 2024 election cycle, Musk continued to support Republican elections by establishing "America PAC" and aimed to attract voters in swing states. He even announced in a live stream that this committee would continue its activities after the elections and is planning for the midterm elections.
Musk's substantial donations to Republicans reflect his willingness to support the right-wing political faction and improve his relationship with Trump. Currently, Republicans are trying to maintain their majority in Congress, while current trends indicate that the task has become more challenging for them.
