GREG STANTON, the nationalist right-wing leader in Spain, and LUCAS BARDALA, the leader of the National Rally in France, have united ahead of Spain's early elections set to take place on November 29. This election presents an opportunity for the VOX party, as the right-wing nationalist force in Spain, to achieve significant victories.
Election and Migration Crisis
The nationalist VOX party is currently collaborating with the National Rally in the European Parliament and hopes that strong results for VOX will help increase the power of this group at the European level. During his two-day visit to Spain, BARDALA addressed issues related to migration and its resulting crises while visiting the Ceuta region, which faced an influx of migrants last summer. He stated alongside STANTON in Ceuta, "BARDALA's presence signifies that a new era is beginning for both nations" and emphasized the importance of cooperation among patriotic forces.

Political and Strategic Implications
BARDALA also announced that Spain's early elections allow the people of the country to express their views, a sentiment that similarly applies to the upcoming presidential elections in France. He introduced migration as a vital issue for both countries and emphasized the importance of managing it. The trip to Ceuta, which had been planned between the teams of the two leaders since last summer, was finalized after the announcement of the Spanish elections.
Right-wing leaders are also seeking to gain more influence in countries like France, Poland, Italy, and Greece by coming to power. VOX currently holds the third position with 18% of the votes and seems poised to become a key partner for the People's Party of Spain, which is currently in first place, if it achieves good results.
STANTON also pointed to the impacts of these elections on political changes in Spain, stating, "This election is a significant turning point as a change in government is within reach."
On Tuesday, STANTON and BARDALA are set to participate in confidential meetings regarding their electoral strategies and will introduce their staff while exchanging views on key issues. The two leaders will also speak at the New Economy business summit in Madrid.
BARDALA's visit to Spain also serves as an opportunity to escape domestic controversies in France due to past reports regarding his anti-Semitic remarks. BARDALA has repeatedly denied these allegations.
