The European Commission will host a meeting on Wednesday in Brussels with representatives from the United States, Ukraine, and key European allies regarding the economic future and reconstruction after the war in Ukraine. Palya Pinho, a spokesperson for the Commission, confirmed this news on Tuesday.
Participants and Discussion Topics
In this meeting, senior officials from France, Germany, the United Kingdom, NATO, and the World Bank will be present alongside representatives from Washington, Kyiv, and the European Union. An EU official, who requested anonymity, stated that the discussions will include security guarantees for Ukraine, economic support for reconstruction, and other issues related to the future of the country.

This meeting follows discussions held last month in Miami and Oslo, and largely includes the same group of participants. Pinho announced that the goal of Wednesday's gathering is to continue the Miami talks, which aimed at securing sustainable and lasting peace in Ukraine.
Presence of Officials and Representatives
The European Commission will have representatives from national security advisors and other senior officials at this meeting, but Pinho refrained from identifying specific participants. In previous meetings, the European Commission was represented by Bjorn Seibert, Chief of Staff to Ursula von der Leyen.
Pinho also declined to confirm the identities of American participants, particularly regarding the potential presence of Steve Vitkoff, the U.S. Special Envoy. In response to questions on this matter, she said: "I can't say yet. We need to wait a bit longer for more information about the American participants to be provided." These discussions reflect the ongoing efforts of the international community to support Ukraine in its path to reconstruction and economic development.
Additionally, this meeting is seen as an opportunity to examine how to provide financial and military assistance to Ukraine, as well as to create a comprehensive strategy for the future of the country. The outcomes of these discussions are expected to strengthen international cooperation and support for Ukraine.
